Once Joker made that pencil disappear, everyone in my theatre got up and clapped. I wouldn't want to live in Gotham City. I dont think there will ever be a joker thats as good as heath... I really wanted Justice League to happen in this universe. They should have just started with this trilogy and continued with Man of Steel. Dark knight is better than the entire mcu can't change facts. I just love that the description on the vehicle says: Slaughter is the best medicine. Brilliant attention for details. When you realise bane is venom. Is The Watchmen in the conversation? Dark, highly unconventional, exploring deep, mature existential themes through Dr. Manhattan. Seems (equally? heroic that such a film could be made. Batman & Robin is always presented as the nadir. Am I the only person who remembers it's dark yet colorful campiness fondly? Poison Ivy. I like the recent defenses of Suicide Squad, from this channel and from CinemaWins (Everything great about videos. My comments on Suicide Squad are there.

Guthrie Govan, playing those runs like a boss. So cool to see him here.

(S)laughter is the best medicine

Undoubtedly, best Batman and Joker of all time,hats off to this movie. A nice movie worth watching I've seen more than 5 times it's really a fun movie even though it was released in 2008. 3:05 that did not age well with Thor Ragnarok. Marvel are popcorn movies. when you watch these you forget about the popcorn. The greatest question in movie history. why so serious. This film is long at over 2 1/2 hours but that is because it does so much right that it takes that long to do the job. Everyone in the cast is terrific. The action is almost non-stop for this film too.
Michael Caine is even better in this film than he was in Batman Begins. Morgan Freeman who has been busy this year (also in Wanted this summer) is fantastic. The film has times where the action is so intense that you almost get lost but it picks you up and doesn't let you get lost. Kudos to Christian Bale as he is even better here than in Batman Begins.
Heath Ledger as the Joker is the big story. This is not a Joker like before, as this one is totally out there (and don't ask me where there is. His criminal activity is defined as unusually bizarre. He says it himself when he says in the movie that he just goes where he wants without any reason for what he is doing. The Joker actually starts the film robbing a bank. By the end of the movie, he has made that bank robbery seem and actually be pointless. The robbery is just a place to start the movie.
The film starts dark & ends darker with very little light in the middle. It kills off people often and even one of the main roles is killed. It gives viewers a delightful UN-predictability not just too the Joker but to where the film is going.
That is pretty much what makes this film go. I doubt than any film will top it this year. It even leaves Wanted in the dust grasping to catch up.

I friggin love this Joker man. Like, I think I need some help. One of the best Batman movies made ever, it's dark, gritty and deep as the darkness Batman hold.
Its characters are well developed, the action is well orchestrated and it's amusing from the start to the end.
The only weak point I see it's the same as the complete trilogy have, the bare knucle doesn't know how to shot espectacular showdowns, but it's a little sin in, by the other side, a majestuous serie of films.
Highly recommended, especially if you're a Batman fan.
